It's Real, It's Here, and Thank You

It's been a crazy busy few weeks with Holy Week, Easter, and then that little book release thing I was doing. But nothing is really official until it's blog official, right? So here it is:

Made for This: The Catholic Mom's Guide to Birth is officially released! It's real, it's here, it's shipping, and people are actually reading it. It's been a surreal year and a half and I feel like I can (sort of) breathe again.

The response has been overwhelming and I'm so grateful for and humbled by the support, the positive reviews, the giveaway donations, the likes, tags, shares, and posts. THANK YOU. It's all been in His hands from its very conception and to God be the glory. I labored hard and long for this book baby but it was all in His grace and through His will and power. May it be a source of strength, information, grace, peace, support, respect, empowerment, and more healthy and holy births for the moms, babies, and families who read it. May it play a small part in building a culture of life that reverences the feminine genius, the dignity of every mother and baby at every moment, that grows in providing real evidence-based care during birth, that honors the intentional design of our Creator for our bodies, our babies, our families.

Would you believe it's been the #1 new release for two weeks now on Amazon for Catholic self-help books and in the top ten for ALL Catholic self-help books?! (Side note: Amazon's Catholic category options - kinda weak.) It even broke into the top 20 for all Christian women's new releases! What?! God is so good and so are all of you.

You can order it here on Amazon through my affiliate link or if you're interested in bulk orders, go right through Our Sunday Visitor.

For those who have read it and feel it merits a 5 star Amazon review, I would be super grateful if you took the time to do that. That's really helpful for authors and for helping the book to reach more people. (And if you don't, feel free to just contact me privately ;)

The book is out, I just had my last two doula births last week, and now I feel like I can take a little breath and focus on preparing for and welcoming this new little person we've been given. Thanks be to God and thank you again to all of you for your support and love. Here's to more beautiful birth.

28 weeks tomorrow!
