I've been wanting to get a chalkboard in the kitchen for a while, planning to use it as a tool for memorizing and learning. I was hoping to find a pretty frame that I could use but didn't want to spend a chunk of money and I don't have much time or ability anymore to peruse thrift stores. So, I did the next best thing and painted it right on the wall! I think I like it and I do think it will be a great aid for all of us in memorizing Scripture and prayers. Right now, the goal is the Pater Noster. Go big or go home.
