Day 21 - Confessing, Exulting

Day 21

"Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man has great power in its effects."
James 5:16

Today's less?  Confession.  Less guilt, an abundance of grace.

"Be glad and exult with all your heart,
O daughter Jerusalem!
The LORD has removed the judgment against you,
he has turned away your enemies;
The King of Israel, the LORD, is in your midst,
you have no further misfortune to fear.
On that day, it shall be said to Jerusalem:
Fear not, O Zion, be not discouraged!
The LORD, your God, is in your midst,
a mighty savior;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
and renew you in his love,
He will sing joyfully because of you."
Zep 3:15-18a

And might I encourage you that if you haven't gone recently, today might be the perfect day?  We are so close to His coming!  I know there are so many many things to do and Saturday afternoons do seem hard sometimes but it will be so worth it.  I'm also preparing for a whole host of obstacles to get in the way because it always seems to work that way, doesn't it?

I'm praying you all have been having an Advent steeped in grace, in whatever form He saw fit.  That the Lord will sing joyfully because of YOU.  We are almost there and despite the many things still left to get done, despite the temptations, the frustrations,  the attacks, and the failures, my heart is so filled with joy and expectation.  He is coming.  And so so soon.  May these last few days of waiting be filled with joy and may He fill your homes and families with Him.
