An Easter Week Giveaway in Honor of Our Lady!

Normally, on March 25th we would have been celebrating the Solemnity of the Annunciation, one of my favorite feasts of the year (also my second anniversary of blogging!  Woot!  They haven't kicked me off the internet yet!).  But since it was Holy Week, the observance has been pushed back to April 8.

Anyhoo, in honor of the now moved feast and of Easter Week, I'm so excited to share with you a giveaway from Mother's Crown Jewelry!  Mother's Crown is owned and run by a beautiful wife and mother I know named Rachael.  She is a stay at home mom to four little ones and is homeschooling her oldest.

You guys, you have to see these rosaries she makes.  They are stunning.  Each one is completely hand made, unique and absolutely beautiful.  Rachael has been making jewelry since 2008 and began to exclusively create religious jewelry in 2011 when she started Mother's Crown.  Since then she has sold her pieces through her website, at local shows and conferences and now even has her work available at Our Lady of Fatima Shrine.  Take a second and go over to her site and look at some of her work.  I have no doubt that some of those rosaries would normally cost anywhere from $30-$60 but Rachael truly sees this work as a ministry and prices them as such.  I mean, really, go over and look at her prices.  They are unbelievable.  Which means that you can afford to get a beautiful quality heirloom for your child, niece, nephew, mother, or anyone and know that it was truly made with prayer and love.  With First Penance, First Communion and Wedding time coming up, her work would make such a special gift for someone.  Oh, and Mother's Day!  Don't forget that!  There's just something better about buying from someone that truly believes in the beauty and power of the Rosary and who made it with their own hands, isn't there?

Check out the Blessed John Paul II rosary she created that I knew I had to get for our John Paul's First Holy Communion last year:

Each Our Father bead has an image from the life of Blessed John Paul II with the date on the back.  Isn't that awesome?  And the crucifix is his papal crucifix.  I love it.  For Christmas I bought my mother in law one of Rachael's rosary bracelets.  I REALLY think some of you will love these.  It is a full unjoined rosary that wraps around your wrist.  Before seeing hers, I had never seen anything like it.  What a beautiful way to keep your rosary with you, not to mention the helpful reminder to pray!  Rachael also makes a variety of chaplets and earrings.  She is even available for custom orders for bridal parties.  I love the idea of a bride giving something that reflects her Catholic Faith to her bridesmaids or flower girl!

Now here's what you've been waiting for:  In honor of the upcoming Solemnity, Rachael generously donated this beautiful rosary for one of my readers to win!

The beads are made of the semi-precious stone sodalite.  I love that color!  The center medal is the Assumption and the crucifix is called a pardon crucifix.  On the back it reads, "Behold this Heart which has so loved all men" and "Father, forgive them."

Beautiful, right?

What's more, she is even giving TEN PERCENT off of anything in her store for my readers through the month of April!  When you contact her, just be sure to mention that you are coming from Better Than Eden.

The giveaway is a Rafflecopter giveaway which means that you can enter multiple times by commenting and sharing the giveaway to others.  Just follow the instructions in the little box!  (And if you comment anonymously, please sign your first name and last initial so we know who you are!)  The giveaway will be open for one week and will end at 11:59 p.m. on April 7 so that I can announce the winner on the feast day!

Good luck and don't forget to hop on over to Mother's Crown and check it out!
