Yay!! It's Friday!
1.
I'm helping my younger sister pick out music for her wedding Mass! Any favorites you'd like to share?? I'm thinking Ave Maria and This is Jesus (by Jim Cowan) are most likely making the list.
2.
These are the roses that bloom on a bush next to our house:
They're quite pretty but only last a week or so and then they're gone. Someone remind me at the beginning of May next year to start a novena to St. Therese for something super cool. Oh shoot...I suppose I can't make it work that way, huh?
3.
I had my first real doula interview last week and now that Luke is old enough and the coolest baby ever, I think I'm ready to start taking clients on a case by case basis. I have not been in that position of being interviewed in a long time. It was weird and fun and when I got home I was full of all this nervous energy and was all chattery with my husband.
4.
Chattery is a word. I promise.
5.
Get ready, folks. I may be hosting my very first blog giveaway sometime in the next few weeks! Yay! And it's a weird one too!

Tell me you've had the experience of battling gargantuan mosquitoes that were attacking your very self and your very little baby while watching a baseball game and so you and the other children booked it to wait the rest of the game in the van because you couldn't take it and there are few things on this earth you hate more than mosquitoes. And tell me that you waited in the van for over an hour entertaining the troops and giving them six month old emergency suckers from your bag and when one of the younguns declared that they HAD to use the bathroom, the thought of dragging all three into what most definitely would be a revolting public restroom sent chills down your spine. (I mean it's at a baseball field on a Saturday at the very end of the day with touchy grabby children and a baby in arms and gargantuan mosquitoes, people!!) And tell me the idea was so VERY revolting that the better option was dumping out the water bottle and helping said child do his thing right there in the van to be disposed of at home. And then I will tell you that has NEVER happened to me. Nope. Except for the other night.
7.
I have no idea what I would've done with a girl.
I just love you. And if you were close enough, I would have you doula me in a heartbeat!!!
ReplyDeleteI love you Mary! You are so darn cute!
